Actually no. Humans have very little effect on Earth. There was a volcano that blew up a while ago and produced 100 times more pollutants than humanity in the last century.

There is no “one” single solution to reducing greenhouse gasses. There needs to be a multi-fauceted approach. Three things need to happen: 1 – drastically reduce the production of the gasses primarily with the use of technology within the industrial sector, 2 – find a way to eliminate or neutralize the gasses that are already present, 3 – everybody needs to willingly sacrifice. Adding tax incentives to companies that prove (independently) that they have no carbon footprint is my personal idea.
