Poor guy, i bet he´s hungry and over worked like hell since he´s working for shitty AA.
I can almost smell the farts in the cockpit from all the bad cat food he´s been eating since AA pay him shit money.

@Appleshaz yes. PMDG has the best addons. I download checklist for B747 from Boeing site and I start PMDG 747 with this checklist.

@SB9P4 Try iFly 737-800 NG for FSX
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
Are they replacing all the super 80s?
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
The controls look like they were made in the ’60s
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@americanairlines ohh man that was a good one! Have you ever watched the BAck to the Future movies? It’s like Marty used to say: ” If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything!”. Don’t you think so?
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
How about more tours of your planes?
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@americanairlines So do you think that ifly or PMDG 737 is almost the same as the real 737? Thanks
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@americanairlines x-plane is not as realistic as FSX with some good add ons like PMDG!
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@americanairlines I have tried X-Plane.

@JJ388JAr Know what you mean, the Boeing 727 was the loudest but it’s very rarely seen in the US skies these days. Airlines retired them so I’ve only seen them for cargo.
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@anacrobat89 I think you might be forgetting about the 727
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
i really hope i can fly for AA in the future
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@richrichieman MD-80 quiet?? I’ll miss them too but it’s the sound of the engines. The Mad Dog is the loudest plane in the US skies these days.
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@viking1960 I agree with you, but i think the MD aircraft look better. The 737 is a bit boring. MD´s are bad ass!
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@FsxCaptainLukas I realize that after the buyout, but I meant in terms of a quality aircraft. I always thought Boeing was better than MD.
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@viking1960 the md planes are owned by boeing….
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
Haha, being an American airline, I was half expecting it to start going ”DING… DING… DING…” If he touched the throttle controls.. lol
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@SB9P4 I see this comment is very old, but FSX doesnt provide the effects that flight has on the body. The higher quality aircraft can more accurately simulate the avionics and such, but the flight dynamics are often very off.

@richrichieman American airlines do have airbus i think is the A300 or A310
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
Do not seek employment with American Airlines as a pilot. I have many pilots that work for American living in my neighborhood and they all HATE American. The Southwest pilots, on the other hand, love their airline. Try to get hired at Southwest if you can.
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@SB9P4 Well I guess If you fly with a PMDG 737 or a Ariane 737 you may can
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@Av8trxx OK mister wiseman, whatever you say.
July 8th, 2011 at 2:29 pm
@amfeelgood The difference? Is that is one source is measurable and one is not. Your example is NOT representative of the current trend in airline hiring in the USA- esp when citing a Mexican airline- and your opinion is NOT a verifiable statistical source, so you spread misinformation.
“Roughly 28% of pilots hired by major U.S. carriers in 2008 had military backgrounds, compared to around 90% in 1992″
- 1/6/2009 USA Today newspaper article ‘As pilots age, airlines hire fewer from military’

I’m glad AA is divesting itself of the MD’s in it’s fleet. MD could never compare with Boeing.
