First Class Experience on Lufthansa and United Airlines… and Berlin

The video is mostly about Berlin and the comparison between United’s First Class (SFO-FRA) and Lufthansa’s First Class (FRA-SFO). I was in Berlin for one day before the IWA Conference in Nürnberg so I got to put in Berlin’s museums and monuments. The IWA Conference in Nürnberg is boring for most people so I didn’t include that. It’s a fast-paced video – you might want to keep your finger above the pause button if it gets too fast.

As a long-time missionary for the homeless, I don’t think I have a nerve to fly first-class ever, even if I am wealthy enough one day ! I rather donate monies to charity and fly coach. [ Just my opinion, and nothing against first-class folks.]lll

United is ok 1st class – but the lounge looks like a gulag from Russia. With those fares you think they could afford a slap of paint and some new carpet.

@kaninchen321 The first lounge was SFO. I started in SNA but there’s no First Class Lounge in SNA. The UA901 flight went straight from SFO to FRA. IAD does have a very decent First Class Lounge – I know I have it in some of my other videos.

Having a car drive you directly to the plane kinda prevents you from feeling the true, vibrant and exciting atmosphere of an airport.
Nevertheless, amazing video. Not too long, not too short.

@0000123452 Their not bad but Quatar and Singapore are a couple of cuts above in my . Except perhaps for the first class lounge on FRA then…But then again, the lounges on Doha Int and Changi is pretty f—-n good to.But o Lufthansa´s credit one should mention they´ve never crashed and thats really something after almost 70 years as a global operator.
