But I doubt his eyesite problem was related to his weight (which is what we’re talkinga about here).
August 14th, 2009 at 9:57 pm
Well, its not quite that easy. I had a friend who could not get a first class because of his eye sight in one eye only being corrected to 20/30 in his left eye.

Works when you’re young. Passing a class 1 just means your heart works when you are on the tredmill. They don’t make us run laps or anything hard. However, once you get to the magic 40 you have to work harder to keep your medical and guys like this either lose weight or learn to type.

actually, being United Express, they are not as important as United, which makes them a beginner airline for pilots. Most pilots won’t go to an airline like Northwest or United first, but rather to something like this.

The aircraft depicted are United Express. Which are regionals. Which can’t be considered LCCs but slightly lower.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
August 14th, 2009 at 9:57 pm
OH YEAH!! YOU TOLD HIM!!! go united!

United certainly can’t be called a discount airline. Up until a couple years ago you might have been able to say United Express was was close, but now that they have “explus”, UAX planes with United First and Economy Plus, I wouldn’t even say it can be classified as such. Once they officially phase out “Ted”, there won’t be any “low-cost” operation at United.
