Russian aerospace tech is advanced & independent, but needs major upgrade
can’t compete with US tech
as far as I know, most airplane accidents are caused by the Russian airplanes
look at Iran, every year at least 2 russian airplanes colapse due to technical problems (or get blow, God knows) while the majority of Iran’s airplanes are American made bought during the Shah regime and never failed
